These are people who also work at JPL. I met the band through Stacy,
who said they didn't have a bassist, so I volunteered. Sound familiar
to another JPL band? I started with them around Summer of '96
The idea with this band was just to get together and jam on all kinds
of music, from blues to alternative/grunge/whatchmacallit music.
Whoever feels capable at the time does the singing.
The name of the game was experience. This was definitely an
experience. It's a lot of music I normally didn't play, so it was
helpful in expanding my horizons. It was pretty much the same way for
the other members. We were all struggling to get to know each other
in a new setting, and the new music as well.
The JamBand was:
Henry Castro - Guitar, Vocals
Mark Pomerantz - Guitar
Scott Dayman - Bass
Stacy Weinstein - Drums
